1. Mainboard Fan
Fan model: 6015 standard fan, used to cool the mainboard and driver modules.
2. When to Replace
- The fan is not spinning or makes unusual noise
- Poor cooling performance causing the mainboard temperature to rise abnormally
3. Required Tools
- H1.5 hex wrench
- H2.5 hex wrench
- New mainboard fan (6015)
4. Precautions
⚠️ Make sure the machine is powered off before starting any disassembly.
5. Replacement Steps
(1) Remove the top cover
Use the H1.5 hex wrench to remove the 6 screws securing the upper housing cover. Take off the cover.
(2) Remove the old fan
Use the H2.5 hex wrench to remove the screws securing the mainboard fan. Disconnect the fan connector and remove the fan.
(3) Install the new fan
Install the new mainboard fan, reconnect the cable, and secure it with screws.
