¶ Phenomenon 1: Incomplete display of touch screen icons
¶ Reason:
Usually the firmware is not updated successfully.
¶ Solution:
Try to update the motherboard firmware again. Be sure to format the SD card before updating the firmware.

¶ Phenomenon 2: The touch screen is distorted, with horizontal or vertical lines appearing; the touch screen displays a white or black background (not completely black)
¶ Cause:
Usually the touch screen is damaged or the touch screen cable is loose. Sometimes it may also be a firmware problem.
¶ Solution:
¶ (1) Update motherboard firmware
¶ (2) If the problem cannot be solved, you need to check whether the cables at both ends of the motherboard and touch screen are loose. You can try to unplug and plug again and then restart the machine.
¶ (3) If it still doesn’t work after re-plugging and unplugging, you need to replace it with a new touch screen kit.
¶ Note: The touch screen display with white background or black background (not completely black) is sometimes caused by motherboard problems. If replugging and unplugging the screen cable does not work, you can try to use Repetier to connect via USB cable. If you cannot connect, it is the motherboard. Problem, the motherboard needs to be replaced.
¶ Phenomenon 3: The touch screen direction is inverted
¶ Reason:
Due to the wrong firmware version being updated, the installation directions of the touch screen in the firmware of the old Q5 and the new Q5 are inconsistent.
¶ Solution:
Modify the touch screen direction in the firmware configuration file. In the default firmware, the default setting is 0xEE flip. If it is changed to 0, it will not flip, as shown in the figure below. After saving, copy all the files in the firmware to the formatted SD and follow the correct steps to re-flash the firmware.
