A clean glass platform plate increases the adhesion to the model, reduces model shedding during the printing process, and improves the print success rate.
Before each print run, you need to check if there is any dust or residual consumables on the glass platform plate. If there is, you need to clean it before printing.
Wipe the glass plate with non-woven cloth dipped in water or alcohol
The three linear rails and the slider need to be lubricated regularly. Proper lubrication ensures that the slider moves smoothly, reduces noise, and extends service life
Check every 15 days, and apply grease
The grease on the linear rail should be applied to both sides of the linear rail, and the grease on the slider should be applied to the holes of the slider, as shown in the photo, slide the carriage up and down, repeat a few times to make the grease evenly distributed on the linear rail
The parallel arm acts as a kinematic joint to support the movement of the effector module and requires regular lubrication. Proper lubrication ensures smooth movement of the slider and extends its service life
Check every 15 days and apply grease
Remove the parallel arm and dot a small amount of grease into the pits of all the ball joints
The belt moves the slider
Every 2 months, check the belt and readjust it
Loosen the two screws labeled 1 and 2 in the diagram and adjust the belt adjustment nut counterclockwise so that the yellow spring leaks out. Adjust the nut and when out of sight spring tighten screws 1 and 2.
Regularly check the three fans on the effector for dust and debris buildup, and clean them if present to ensure smooth operation and long service life
It is recommended that the fans be inspected every 15 days to clean any debris or dust that may have accumulated around the blades.
With the printer turned off, use compressed air or a fine, soft-bristled brush to remove any debris or dust from the fan blades.
Clearing debris from the feed rollers reduces the risk of missing and clogging material to ensure smooth operation and long service life.
It is recommended to clean consumable debris from the spools every 15 days.
Clean the inside of the extruder. Open the extruder by fully loosening the adjustment knob on the extruder and use a brush to clean the inside of the extruder of any remaining debris and miscellaneous items.
Regularly check whether the fixing clips on the pneumatic connectors on the extruder side and the effector module side are detached or damaged, as detached or damaged clips can cause the material tube to be poorly fixed, which may lead to material blockage.
Proper lubrication ensures smooth operation and extended service life
Monthly inspection and lubrication is recommended.
Remove the aluminum profile cover, rotate the motor and apply liquid lubricant to the bearings.
